Play on words or true name? Mark Matcho has been an illustrator for 20 years, and has pretty much worked for every dern magazine out there, at one point or another.
His illustrations are evocative of eras gone by (early Monopoly characters?) and 40′s comic strip like drawings. There is drama, there is humor and there is a perfected art of minimalist rendering with a punch.
